How to buy Ethereum (ETH) on LocalCoinSwap

Step 1: Sign up to LocalCoinSwap
‌Visit LocalCoinSwap and sign up for an account. You only need to choose a username and a valid email address to complete this signup process.‌

Step 2: Find a suitable ethereum trade advertisement
‌At the top of the home page there is a search bar. Select "Buying" and "Ethereum". You can also use the other boxes to  this to narrow down your search by selecting a payment method, local currency, and/or location that is suitable for you. You can re-order the results using the sort dropdown at the top of the table. When you find a suitable trade, click "Buy".

Step 3: Initiate a trade
‌On this page you will find more information relating to this trade advertisement. These include the price, seller stats, and terms of trade. Select in the amount that you wish to purchase into the “I wish to buy” box in either local currency or ethereum. It is very important to read the terms of trade before initiating a trade with a user. By clicking “Initiate Contract” you are agreeing to the conditions set by the seller. If you do not agree to the conditions simply go back and browse through more trade advertisements.‌

Step 4: Once the escrow is funded, pay the seller
Once you have initiated a trade and the seller has accepted it, they will then need to lock the ethereum being sold into escrow. The seller will now provide you with the payment details and it is time to make the payment as per the seller's conditions stated in the terms of trade. Be sure to make the payment within any time period specified by the seller.  ‌

‌Once you have made the payment click “I have paid to username”‌

Step 5: Receive Crypto
‌Once the seller confirms receipt of your payment, they will release the ethereum into your wallet. If anything goes wrong in the trade process, simply click the raise dispute button and a LocalCoinSwap staff member will join the trade chat to assist!

You can now withdraw your ethereum off the platform, or store it securely in your LocalCoinSwap wallet.
