LocalCoinSwap Release Notes: Version 0.2.4 (October 8, 2018)
Today marks the 4th week which LocalCoinSwap has been operational for, and we have a number of new updates ready for the community.
On the frontend, users may notice that the entire URL structure has been changed, removing unnecessary characters and ensuring logical structure to all links. Logistically this was a huge task and very time consuming, but is absolutely necessary to improve search engine optimisation of the site and cause us to rank higher on relevant Google searches.
Although our paid advertising campaigns are not yet started we have begun working on the SEO of all pages. This is an ongoing and 'never complete' process, but we believe it will be crucially necessary to drive organic traffic to the website in coming months.
Last week I mentioned in the weekly updates that several changes had been made to facilitate the easier adoption of cryptocurrencies. This week I am proud to announce that we have added two new cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin Cash, and Ethereum Classic.
Both cryptocurrencies are now fully operational on the website, and users can begin trading immediately.
Next, an administration matter - LocalCoinSwap has just completed our first round of interviews for the new frontend developer position. We hope to have a new developer onboard by the end of the week, to commence work immediately.
Lastly, many community members have asked us about hard launch. We are currently working on the final details of what features will be included, and expect to make the official announcement next Monday.
We are deeply grateful for your continued patience during the first month of operation, and for all the valuable insights, comments, and suggestions provided so far. Your feedback has been the primary source of the hard launch feature design.
Have a great week, I look forward to next weeks official announcements!
