ENS now supported on LocalCoinSwap

LocalCoinSwap is the first P2P ETH and Stablecoin exchange to support the increasingly popular ENS domain technology.

ENS stands for the Ethereum Name Service, a service that creates human-readable names for Ethereum addresses and other content. ENS eliminates the need to copy or type long addresses. For example, with ENS, you'll be able to send money to your friend John Archer at “johnarcher.eth” instead of a standard ETH address such as “0x7AB685a614d0aaC012…”.

Popular wallets like MetaMask and MyEtherWallet also support ENS. Remember, on LocalCoinSwap you can trade directly from your MetaMask wallet for added convenience!

Everyone is able to create an ENS address using any text they like:

ENS and corresponding addresses can easily be searched on popular blockchain explorers like Etherscan.

After users buy Ethereum or other ERC20 tokens on LocalCoinSwap, they are able to send them from their non-custodial wallet directly to any .eth ENS address.

In the near future, ENS will also be implemented for Bitcoin to further extend ENS support.

LocalCoinSwap is a multi-custodial P2P cryptocurrency exchange that allows users to buy and sell bitcoin, ethereum, stablecoins and more in any country using over 250+ payment methods.
